Write a paper starting with an introduction and then for part one, comment on your DISC style and on your top two or three Skills, Driving Forces and Motivators (refer to these sections of the assessment report). Explain what your awareness of these results means for you. What will you do differently? What do you want to improve upon or work on? Describe what you believe to be the two strongest and weakest areas of your personality, with reference to the assessment results?
If you have work experience, please use your past professional experience to provide examples of those skills, motivators and driving forces in action. If you do not have work experience, then refer to examples from school or family interactions.
In part two, explore how those traits of yours may impact your career and work performance based on your current or aspirational career path. Which traits are likely to be key to your success? Which traits will you have to be careful to work on, improve upon or regulate? How will you do this?
Finally, in part three, develop a written action plan (with actual concrete steps you’ll take) to improve in those areas you identified above as needing your attention.

Understanding one’s personality traits, abilities, motivators, and compulsions is essential for both personal and professional development (McShane et al., 2021). The Indigo TriMetrix DNA assessment report offers insightful information on my DISC style, abilities, and motivators, which will assist me in setting objectives and improving my performance. My DISC style, top abilities, motivators, and driving forces will all be examined in this essay, along with how this knowledge might help me progress and reach my full potential.
My natural DISC personality type is Dominance (D) and Steadiness (S), whereas my adapted personality type is a combination of Dominance (D) and Compliance (C). I define myself as dominating since I am goal-oriented, confident, and enjoy a challenge. My steadiness characteristic makes me steady, patient, and focused on creating stable situations. I demonstrate a higher level of compliance in my adapted style, which denotes that I pay attention to the little things, obey rules, and take painstaking care while approaching problems. When someone has both high dominance and high steadiness attributes, they can combine being aggressive with being patient and being decisive with being helpful (Herrity, 2019). Consequently, they may be capable leaders who can weigh the needs and well-being of their team members when making difficult decisions (Keogh et al., 2019). Despite being results-driven, they are conscious of the need to preserve a positive and stable work environment.
Understanding my DISC style makes it easier for me to identify my communication preferences, social interaction habits, and tendencies when it comes to problem-solving. I naturally take charge, make decisions, and enjoy taking on leadership responsibilities as a Dominant person. However, I must exercise caution to avoid coming across as arrogant or domineering, as this could thwart productive teamwork and collaboration. My quality of steadiness can help generate stability in projects and promote positive team interactions. My Adapted style, on the other hand, shows a predisposition for organized settings, which can help me stick to set rules and guidelines. However, I must be careful not to become overly inflexible, and I must be willing to accept change when it comes.
One key strength that improves my leadership talents is my capacity for effective project planning, management, and execution. Labare (2021) defines project management as planning, arranging, and carrying out a series of tasks and activities to accomplish specified goals within predetermined restrictions, such as those related to time, money, scope, and resources. I can efficiently manage timetables, assign resources, and assess project requirements thanks to my strong analytical skills. I can anticipate probable problems and create backup plans thanks to my proactive attitude, which guarantees the successful completion of projects.
I am able to stay current on market trends, new technology, and best practices because to my strong passion for constant learning. This makes it possible for me to quickly adjust to the dynamic business environment and make well-informed judgments based on current information.

By focusing on my resourcefulness, I will be able to make informed decisions, find the best ways to solve problems, and allocate resources as efficiently as possible. Although I have assertiveness and a results-oriented approach because of my dominating nature, I need to be careful to balance assertiveness with adaptability. My aggressiveness may occasionally be useful for making judgments quickly and moving tasks along. In contrast, I should be open to other people’s viewpoints, adaptable to various communication methods, and receptive to criticism in collaborative contexts. I can control my aggressiveness more effectively by developing emotional intelligence, ensuring that I establish productive working connections with coworkers and team members.

I will actively seek feedback from instructors, classmates, and colleagues to enhance and moderate my dominant and compliance tendencies. I can identify situations where I might need to modify my communication style or approach by reflecting on my own behavior. I can discover opportunities for growth and make sure I strike the correct balance between aggressiveness and adaptability by regularly assessing my interactions and decisions.
Controlling my dominating personality and promoting productive teamwork will need the development of emotional intelligence. This is the ability to identify, comprehend, manage, and express emotions in oneself and others. I will actively look for chances to push myself beyond of my comfort zone to improve my flexibility and work on my compliance trait.
